Established in 2000 Marine and General Services Ltd. provides general and specialist engineering services to all sectors of industry, based on a continued track record of reliability, quality and punctuality.
We operate from a dedicated 8000 sq. ft. welding and fabrication hall complimented by a separate fitting out and assembly facility on the same site, close to the rail, motorway and shipping networks for ease of transport of finished projects.
This, “one – stop “ manufacturing and assembly shop is fully fitted out with the plant and equipment expected in this industry. A full plant and capacity list is available on request.
Marine & General Services Ltd are assessed and certified to the latest ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and full traceabilty and document packs are available for each project as requested.
The welding department are continually monitored to ensure that our high quality and standards are always achieved and maintained. A full range of welders codes and procedures are held to meet the relevant B.S. and A.S.M.E. requirements.
Our personnel are confined space trained to utility authority standard and have the relevant CIS/CSCS certification to comply with H&S requirements; risk assessments and method statements are completed for each project. The team are also Comp Ex BS EN certificated to work in hazardous electrical areas. Marine and General Services is NICEIC/UKAS Product certification accredited to ensure quality is maintained.
